The deadline for abstracts for the Cracow Grid Workshops (CGW'09) is 5 Sept.  A presentation will be accepted on the basis of an abstract;  details about the abstract format and review criteria are available.

Proceedings of the CGW09 will be traditionally printed after
the event; papers will be accepted on the basis of the evaluation of presentations and the review of full papers. Selected papers will be recommended for submission to FGCS.

The main objective of the Cracow Grid Workshops, which were initiated in 2001, is to support the community of researchers, developers, and practitioners who work in e-Science, grid systems, and their applications.

During CGW'09, the ViroLab project led by Peter M.A. Sloot will present its scientific achievements and a live demo of its environment for collaborative e-science applications.CGW'09, as the PL-Grid and the Central European Grid Consortium event, will be an opportunity for overview of research in the main European and national grid projects.At the Cracow PRACE Code Porting Workshop, organized just after CGW'09, architectures and programming techniques of the HLRS NEC and the IBM Blue Gene will be presented.
